10 fun Christmas recipes for kids

There’s no better excuse than Christmas to get into the cooking spirit, and even make a morning or afternoon of it by getting your kids involved.

Ryan, my 4 year old, loves to cook with me, but I think more than cooking, he loves making sweet treats so he can lick the mixing bowl.

Gingerbread Men

I really feel like Christmas isn’t Christmas without some sort of gingerbread treat.

This year Ryan and I will be decorating our own gingerbread men, but I’ll be cheating a bit as I’ve pre bought gingerbread men to decorate.

Sugar Biscuits

I’ve made sugar biscuits for the past three Christmases, and last year Ryan was old enough to help decorate them.

Sugar biscuits are great to make with kids as they can be made into different shapes, some large enough for decorations to be a little crazier.
