Valentine’s Day gift ideas for kids

Valentine's Day gifts for kids under 5

Valentine’s Day is something that my two boys want to celebrate, so to help them I give them a couple of small Valentine’s Day gifts before we do something to celebrate Valentine’s Day as a family.

If you’re interested in giving your little ones something small for Valentine’s Day, then here are some Valentine’s Day gifts for kids under 5 that will make them feel a bit special.

Similarly, if you’re interested in starting some traditions, here are 5 Valentine’s Day traditions for families that you may like to consider.

Books

One of my favourite Valentine’s Day gifts for kids under 5 are books, and some really cute love themed ones include:

  • Mr Men Little Miss Love
  • Love from The Very Hungry Caterpillar
  • Love Monster and the Last Chocolate

Craft kits

Craft kits are a great Valentine’s Day gift idea for kids and come in many different varieties including animal craft kits, heart stained glass kits, and even DIY painting kits.

Baking accessories

Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to make something sweet and there are many Valentine’s Day themed baking accessories that you can buy including aprons, heart cookie cutters, heart shaped chocolate moulds and even heart shaped cake pans.

Small gifts

Another Valentine’s Day gift for kids are small gifts that you can give to them Valentine’s Day morning, and include chocolate game controllers, rainbow coloured crayons, plush toys and heart shaped fidget poppers.

I hope you’ve found something here that may add a little bit of fun, or extra love to your kids Valentine’s Day this year.

Do you do anything special on Valentine’s Day for your little ones?

Great ideas. I loved the books you’ve included, they make me nostalgic! I also like the craft kits, what a great way to spend some quality time together. Thanks for sharing!
