Odds Farm Park Review

Over the summer break we went to Odds Farm Park, a farm with animals, playgrounds, an indoor play centre, and so much more.

Here’s my Odds Farm Park review from our visit, which covers:

I hope you find this Odds Farm Park review helpful, and that it helps you to decide if it’s somewhere you’d like to visit

Location

Odds Farm Park is located at:

Wooburn Common
High Wycombe
Buckinghamshire HP10 0LX

Things to do

Things to do include:

Indoor play area

There’s a huge indoor play area at Odds Farm Park that contains soft play equipment for older children, including 4 slides, 2 drop slides, nets, tunnels, ropes, bridges, and more.

There’s also a toddler soft play area that’s enclosed, that has a ball pit, slide, and climbing frames within it.

My preschooler spent a little bit of time in the toddler soft play, but much preferred the larger soft play, that had things in it he was able to enjoy.

The highlight of the indoor play area for my boys were the slides, they went down them many times, and loved every second they spent there.

Animal barn

Odds Farm Park have rare breeds, which means that there are animals you may not get to see very often, or at all, and as well as rare breeds, they also have:

  • Chickens
  • Sheep
  • Goats
  • Rabbits
  • Guinea Pigs
  • Cows
  • Pigs
  • Ponies
  • Donkeys

Some of the animals are located in the animal barn, which was our favourite place to see them, because my boys were able to feed the goats, which got really cheeky by climbing the fence to reach the food in their hands.

There are also exhibits in the animal barn that run at different times, which are displayed on a board outside the animal barn.

One of the exhibits we saw was the rabbit petting session, but there was also pig feeding sessions, and cow milking demonstrations.

Animal paddocks

As well as the animals in the barn, there are animals located in the paddocks, including horses, sheep, pigs, turkeys and more.

Playgrounds

There are two playgrounds outside the animal barn, one for older kids, and one for toddlers and preschoolers.

The playgrounds have beams, bridges, wobbly boards, slides, swings, rope ladders, tunnels and more in them, and give kids a lot of room to run around and have fun.

Sandpits

There are two sandpits at Odds Farm Park near the playgrounds, and both of them have a covered section so kids can stay in the shade during summer.

Inside the sandpits are tractors, spades, and other sand toys, and the one closest to the animal barn has a water play area within it, as well as beach chairs for adults.

Log play area

There’s a log play area outside the animal barn for kids under 5, where they can climb through houses, run along an obstacle course, or play in the bark.

Water zone

The area we spent most of our time in was the water zone, located behind the animal barn, where there were pumps, wheels, gates, and many different interactive water features for kids to enjoy.

To go in this area you need to have bathers, or a change of clothes, because your kids will get wet.

There were also water toys and snacks for sale here.

Cars

On the day we visited there were different cars that kids could play in including mini Land Rovers, go karts, pedal tractors, and stationery tractors.

Thomas loved the pedal tractors, and often returned to them during the day for a play.

Tractor ride

This is my favourite thing to do at Odds Farm Park, which is a 15 minute tractor ride that runs April – October, and drives through the animal paddocks, allowing you to get close to cows and sheep.

The driver of our tractor ride was really informative, and told us many interesting things about the animals we were passing.

Mini golf

There’s also an 18 hole mini golf course, which costs £2.50 per ball.

It looked like a lot of fun, but we didn’t have time to do it during our visit.

My thoughts on the farm

Odds Farm Park was a great day out.

The highlights of our visit included the indoor play area, as it had a huge range of soft play equipment for kids of all ages and abilities, and my boys loved the slides, Ryan even attempted the drop slides.

The water zone was another highlight, I had a lot of trouble getting the boys out of it. I liked that it was large, safe, and had a great variety of interactive water features.

In terms of ticket prices, I think they’re a bit on the pricey side, but there’s a lot to do here, so you can definitely fill a whole day.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this Odds Farm Park review.
