After trying a variety of changing bags and not being happy with them, I did some research for an alternative, and came across some Babymel Changing Bag reviews.
After reading some, I purchased the Robyn Convertible Babymel Changing Bag, and now that I’ve used it for sometime, I thought I’d write my own Babymel Changing Bag review, to help anyone who is looking for a changing bag decide if this one suits their needs.
This review is for the Babymel Robyn Convertible Changing Bag, and it covers:
I hope you find this Babymel Changing Bag review helpful, and I’d love to know if there’s anything you think I should add to it so it’s as helpful as can be.

Product details
The aim of this changing bag is to hold everything you need for your baby when out.
It has the following features:
- Built in 4 way convertible strap with shoulder pad, so it can be a backpack, shoulder bag, cross body bag, or be hand held
- Stroller straps so it can be attached to a baby’s stroller
- 7 pockets
- Wipes pocket with dispenser slot
- Wide opening with zip closure
Size and colours
This Babymel Changing Bag is 35cm H x 29cm W x 15cm D, and weighs 0.7kg/1.5lbs.

Material
The Robyn Convertible Babymel Changing Bag is made from 100% polyester, is water and stain resistant, and its outer material and lining can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, and left to dry naturally.
Other changing bags in the range are made from vegan leather, and recycled polyester.
Things included
This changing bag comes with:
- A machine washable change mat
- An insulated bottle holder with drawstring closure and thermo-insulation, which keeps liquids at their correct temperature for up to 4 hours
- A dummy holder that can be attached to the bag
Recommended age
In my opinion this changing bag is best for birth to 4 years, but is most suited for babies because it fits baby products in it much better than toddler products.
Price
This Babymel Changing Bag is currently £69.
My thoughts
For me this Babymel Changing Bag was perfect for holding baby accessories, it easily carried all the nappies, wipes, nappy bags, bottles, and spare clothes that I needed for a day out, as well as my keys, purse, and phone.
Once my baby became a toddler and I needed to store toddler snacks and toddler accessories in it, I didn’t use it as much because these bulkier and oddly shaped products didn’t fit inside the bag that well.
The features that attracted me to this changing bag were the wipes pocket and convertible strap.
However, I ended up not using the wipes pocket because I found that the best way to use it was to have a wipe poking out of it, which meant it dried up by the time I needed it.
I never carried the bag, instead I hung it onto my stroller with the integrated stroller straps, which was great because I didn’t have to store the bag in the stroller’s storage area, which is awkward to reach.
Overall, this Babymel Changing Bag was perfect for me when I needed it for baby products, but I stopped using it once I needed it to store toddler items.
