Entertaining kids indoors is hard and stressful, but here are 50 indoor activities for kids that you can try, to maintain everyone’s sanity.

- Try some kid and toddler friendly baking recipes, including CBeebies Chocolate Crispy Cakes, Chocolate Brownie Cake, Jam and Coconut Thumbprint Cookies, or anything on this Kid’s Baking Recipes page
- Decorate cookies
- Make a bus out of a giant cardboard box that your child can sit in and decorate
- Make string or pipe cleaner necklaces and bracelets out of Cheerios, pasta, beads, or buttons
- Colour in with Crayola Color Wonder Mess Free Colouring or colour on some Post-it notes
- Colouring books, stickers

- Have a dance party
- Do some Cosmic Kids Yoga
- Make a road on a box with some tape and markers, cut a hole at the end of the road so your child can drive their cars into the hole
- Draw shapes or animals on photographic paper, then have your child stick coloured mosaic paper onto it with water. After about 30 minutes take the paper off and it looks like the picture has been painted
- Have an indoor picnic
- Wash toys in the kitchen sink with water and soap
- Line up dominos and knock them over
- Play with magnetic letters or magnetic numbers on the fridge or heater
