Head and Heart is “a monthly capture of my feelings and doings in the raw.” It’s where I share a more personal side of myself on this blog.
So here’s my Head and Heart for May 2015.
This month Nick was in the UK for two weeks, so I had a lot of quiet time. Time spent eating leftovers, going to bed early, and waking up early to get things done as part of my May action plan.
Creating a work wardrobe
This month I decluttered and organised my wardrobe. I’m now thinking about extending this organisation to other areas of my home.
This month I enrolled into a Diploma of Digital Marketing, which starts in September. I’m really excited, but also nervous as I remember what it’s like to study part time and work full time.
In November I’m going to South Korea with my sister. I’m really looking forward to this trip, as it’s a destination I’ve never thought of visiting.
I finally joined a 24/7 gym to combat the many hours I spend sitting at a desk. I just need to establish a routine and really get into it.
The Third Wife – Lisa Jewell
This is another chick lit novel, which is a genre I swore I’d stop reading. However, this wasn’t so chick litty, if that makes sense. This is a good book with a little mystery, but also a predictable ending. If you’re looking for an easy read, then give this a go.
This is a common spending area for me, and this month was no different.
